Summary
Solo travellers and families (age 14+) are welcome on this incredible charity trek through the Maasai Mara, blending wildlife encounters, cultural immersion, and conservation.
We begin with a guided game walk and boat safari at Lake Naivasha, spotting zebras, giraffes, hippos, and a spectacular variety of birdlife. Then, we journey into the Loita Hills, trekking alongside Maasai guides who share their traditions, survival skills, and deep connection to the land. We camp under the African stars each night, experiencing the wilderness as few ever do.
Our adventure continues with a visit to a local Maasai school before heading into the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve for a Big Five safari. Guided by expert wildlife spotters, we track lions, elephants, and cheetahs in their natural habitat.
As a fitting finale, we visit two incredible conservation projects: the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where orphaned elephants are rehabilitated, and The Giraffe Centre, dedicated to protecting the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe.
With only a handful of places available, this exclusive, small-group challenge offers an authentic and unforgettable way to experience Kenya—a perfect adventure for first-time trekkers, families, and those looking to give back while exploring one of Africa’s most remarkable landscapes.
